Located at 11 Riverside Drive on Manhattan's Upper West Side, the Schwab House occupies a prime position overlooking Riverside Park. This historic cooperative building sits on the former site of the Riverside Mansion, once owned by steel magnate Charles M. Schwab. Built in 1950, the 19-story red brick structure replaced the mansion, which had been largely abandoned due to its location—once considered the "wrong" side of Central Park.
